Dr. Rohan Shah was born and raised in Connecticut and received his undergraduate studies at Emory University in Atlanta, GA with a focus in human medicine. After discovering a late passion for animal science and health, Dr. Shah spent 10 years familiarizing him with the world of veterinary medicine with training in New England, Maryland, Grenada, and Virginia, culminating in a degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. He started his career with a rotating internship at Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty and stayed on as a full-time ER clinician. He prides himself in balancing animal compassion and client education with special interests in diagnostic imaging, cardiology, and neurology. When not caring for his patients, he spends his time with his wife, newborn son, and 4 pets (2 cats, 2 dogs). In his free time he enjoys watching professional hockey among other sports (Let's Go NY Rangers, Ravens, and Os) and experimenting with self-taught computer programming, wood-working, and gardening.
